Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking for an ETD Operations Analyst to join their team in London.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of exchange-traded derivatives, resolving any discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitoring open exceptions across systems and clearing them efficiently within the defined timelines.
- Maintaining and validating standing data for all derivative products and confirming accurate application of clearing and execution fees.
- Generating regular management reports and operational statistics to support internal performance tracking.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, recommending and supporting enhancements to workflows, controls, and contingency plans.
You will need to have the following experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an operations, trade support, or reconciliation role.
- Experience dealing with a range of ETD products such as futures, options, swaps, and CFDs.
- Understanding of clearing, settlement, and margin processes.
- Proven background interacting with Exchanges, Clearing Houses, and Clearing/Execution Brokers.
- Experience in a trading environment, ideally within the energy or broader commodities sector, with direct exposure to traders and commercial teams.
