This role delivers AutoCAD, Revit model and drawing production process. You will be producing high quality drawings & models with priorities and delivery strategies agreed in collaboration with the hiring manager. The daily workload will involve producing drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD mainly in 2D and will involve some knowledge of MEP. The majority of our technical output is biased towards client side advisory services, with design services to RIBA 3 and a RIBA 4A level of detail, with selected projects progressing to a higher level of detail. This is a hybrid role to be based out of the company’s Bristol office.
Your duties:
- Contributing to the company standards for drawing and model creation working closely with the CAD manager to set and deliver to agreed standards.
- Self-manage time and delivery deadlines set in conjunction with the wider team.
- Working as part of a team alongside members of the MEP design team and wider CAD/BIM teams.
- Follow agreed standards for quality and delivery of information.
- Continually review opportunities for efficiency using software, hardware, training & new technology.
- Produce Building services mechanical, electrical drawings using AutoCAD MEP & REVIT where required, both 2D & 3D coordination.
- Contribute to the culture of the team, communicating clearly and concisely with colleagues.
The Candidate:
Qualifications:
- Construction or architectural industry-related diploma or degree level qualification, preferably with a minimum of 5-10 years industry experience.
- Autodesk family of software certifications desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit is a must & some Autodesk AutoCAD experience would be preferred.
- Experience of related clash detection, visualisation, productivity & coordination tools.
- Working within common data environments to ISO 19650 standards.
- Knowledge of the Autodesk construction CDE.
