Job Title: Technical Support Engineer 📍 Location: Redditch 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent 💰 Salary: £32,500 to £35,000 per annum 🔧 About the Role: We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic Warranty, Service and Overhaul Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in manufacturing or engineering who thrives on solving problems and delivering top-tier support to customers post-dispatch. You\’ll play a vital role in diagnosing issues, providing remote and on-site assistance, and ensuring that our products continue to meet high standards of performance and reliability. 🔍 Key Responsibilities: * Provide technical support to customers via email, phone, and Teams meetings * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems; perform necessary repairs * Investigate returned products to identify root causes and improvement opportunities * Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions and resolutions * Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve recurring issues * Manage and process warranty claims in a timely and effective manner * Proactively communicate updates and solutions to customers * Oversee spare parts inventory and order replacements when needed * Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with internal and industry standards * Occasionally provide on-site support and customer visits 🛠️ What We\’re Looking For: * Background in technical manufacturing or engineering * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical users * Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks * High attention to detail and accurate data presentation * Flexible, team-oriented and proactive approach to work * Able to remain calm and effective under pressure * Experience working in a fast-paced, diverse environment ✅ Why Join Us? * Be part of a collaborative and experienced team * Play a key role in customer satisfaction and product improvement * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for growth and professional development * Work in a supportive environment where your expertise is valued
