SF Recruitment are currently working exclusively with The Vegan Society, the world's oldest vegan organisation. We are looking for an experienced HR and Employee Engagement Manager to lead our HR function, support staff wellbeing, and drive engagement across the organisation, helping to shape a workplace where compassion, ethics, and people matter. This is a pivotal role for the business.

Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: up to £45,718
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours) | Part-time considered (hybrid - maybe 2 days based on site)
What you’ll do:
- Deliver expert HR support and guidance across all areas of the charity
- Support leadership with HR strategy, planning, and organisational development
- Oversee employee relations, compliance, and the full employee lifecycle
- Lead on training, development, and EDI initiatives
- Develop strategies to enhance staff satisfaction, morale, and productivity
What you’ll bring:
- Significant HR experience, including advising senior leaders
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and best practice
- Experience managing organisational change and engagement programmes
- Skilled in recruitment, policy development, and implementing EDI strategy
- CIPD qualified (desirable not essential)
