My client, a market leading, innovative Consultancy based in the heart of Manchester, is searching for a Senior to manage and support a small team of flood risk specialists. Hybrid working available.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk, hydrology, drainage or civil engineering.

For this opportunity, applicants are also required to have the drive and determination to develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients across the North West and have experience managing projects, promoting company services and mentoring team members.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to lead a new team based in Leeds. You will be expected to manage projects, mentor and train team members and check/amend technical work spanning flood risk, SuDS, drainage, natural flood management, climate change, flood alleviation and wetland restoration schemes across the UK.

You will be required to expand a new team, manage projects and check technical work. As an experienced Consultant you will oversee projects spanning the following:

  • Flood Alleviation Schemes.
  • Wetland Restoration and Natural Flood Risk Management.
  • Pollution Incidents and Nutrient Neutrality.
  • Drainage Strategies and drainage designs.
  • Bid Proposals and Business Development.
