Our Finance Sector client is seeking a Document Review Specialist to assist the Litigation team in an ongoing litigation project on a 6-month contract basis. You will be responsible for reviewing, categorising, and organising emails and electronic files relevant to each case. This role requires strong analytical skills, discretion, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
The Document Review Specialist will:
- Review and analyse large volumes of emails, documents, and files (including PDFs, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, etc.) for relevance, responsiveness, privilege, and confidentiality
- Conduct keyword searches and apply filters within document review platforms to identify responsive materials
- Flag and annotate key documents and communications for use by the legal team
- Maintain detailed logs or databases of reviewed and categorized documents
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality control in document classification
- Collaborate closely with litigation support personnel / internal legal department
- Adhere to data protection and confidentiality protocols throughout the project
The ideal candidate for the role of Document Review Specialist will be:
- Previous experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, purview or document review
- Experience of Microsoft Exchange / M365 Exchange / Exchange Hybrid Environment
- Experience of Powershell / Windows Server 2022
- Familiarity with common document review platforms (e.g, Relativity)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
- Clear understanding of legal procedures, relevance, and confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common file formats
Desirable:
- Experience of Rubrik backup and Nutanix desirable
