Location: Ipswich (Hybrid – 2 days remote, 1 day in office at Allington Clinic)

Pay Rate: £29 per hour

Contract: 3 months initially

Tripod is looking for a qualified and experienced Health Visitor to support the clinical duty team within a Health Business Centre. This hybrid role involves a combination of remote and office-based responsibilities and requires strong clinical judgement, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of family and child health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as part of the clinical duty team, responding to calls and emails from parents and carers.
  • Process clinical post and safeguarding communications (including emails, letters, and reports).
  • Provide expert advice to parents on topics such as child development, infant feeding, minor illnesses, and maternal mental health.
  • Liaise professionally with other healthcare providers and safeguarding partners, including GPs, midwives, social workers, and perinatal mental health teams.
Requirements:
  • Registered Health Visitor with relevant qualifications.
  • Confident in giving health advice and safeguarding decisions.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Right to work in the UK.
