About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering function. This role is critical in driving technical excellence, innovation, and operational efficiency across our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering and proven experience working with Engineering Procurement Contractors (EPCs) on complex industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering department, including design, and project engineering teams.
- Oversee the development and delivery of engineering solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with EPCs, ensuring alignment on specifications, deliverables, and timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and standards.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and product management to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
About you:
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of working with Engineering Procurement Contractors (EPCs) on large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of heat tracing systems, thermal engineering, industrial electrical systems, or related technologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in international project delivery and working with global teams.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ETAP, or similar).
- Knowledge of IECEx/ATEX design or installation practices.
