We are currently recruiting for a contents handler for a leading Mansfield company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation, this is a varied role where no 2 days are the same.
The job role for the contents handler includes:
- Responsible for the packing, loading, transportation, and unloading of household contents and personal belongings.
- This job requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to handle physical work efficiently.
- The Contents Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring that customers’ belongings are treated with care and respect and will have direct contact with customers.
The skills and experience required for the contents handler include:
- A clean driving licence is essential due to company insurance; you will need to have held a licence for a minimum of three years.
- Flexible, as the client is based in Mansfield; however, you will be required to cover the West Midlands area, so a degree of flexibility will be required to take into consideration travelling to and from client premises.
- Good English is essential as you will require to speak to clients and deal with matters of a sensitive nature.
- This is a physical role, so you will need to lift items on a daily basis; therefore, you will need to be physically fit.
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, furniture removal, or high-volume packaging lines is preferred.
- Strong work ethic is essential.
- Must be able to use a PC/iPad to download pictures and information.
