This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a nurturing setting that takes a holistic and therapeutic approach to early years education.
The nursery cares for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years, with age-appropriate rooms and a strong emphasis on both indoor and outdoor learning through sensory-rich and risk-aware play. The role is long-term with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a stimulating and safe environment
- Adapt to different rooms and age groups when required
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years preferred (Level 2 minimum required)
- Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible
- Strong communication and team-working skills
