TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly and well-established private day nursery in South East London, currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a nurturing setting that takes a holistic and therapeutic approach to early years education.

The nursery cares for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years, with age-appropriate rooms and a strong emphasis on both indoor and outdoor learning through sensory-rich and risk-aware play. The role is long-term with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a stimulating and safe environment
  • Adapt to different rooms and age groups when required
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years preferred (Level 2 minimum required)
  • Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible
  • Strong communication and team-working skills
