About the Role:
As a Teacher of Business Studies, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students. Whether you are available full-time or part-time, on a day-to-day or long-term basis, the school welcomes educators with the drive to make a meaningful impact during this academic period.
Responsibilities of the Business Studies Teacher:
- Plan and deliver Business Studies lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Teach students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 with clarity, structure, and enthusiasm.
- Monitor student progress, set clear targets, and provide effective feedback.
- Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Participate in department planning and whole-school events where applicable.
- Engage positively with students, staff, and parents to support learning outcomes.
Business Studies Teacher Candidate Requirements:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level, ideally including KS3, KS4 & KS5.
- A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong classroom management skills and an adaptable approach.
- A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
