The predicted salary is between 36000 - 66000 £ per year.

We’re currently working with two long standing clients, both respected main contractors, to recruit experienced Bid Writers. One opportunity is with a growing SME contractor specialising in high-quality new build and refurbishment projects across the public and private sectors; the other is with a larger, well-established contractor delivering projects up to £10m across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, and heritage.

These are excellent permanent roles for candidates with experience producing quality bid submissions in the construction industry.

Join a family-owned main contractor with a strong reputation for repeat business and sustainable construction. Based in the South East, they deliver projects under Traditional and D&B forms of contract across commercial, education, and public sector markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and produce high-quality tender documents and bid responses
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather content
  • Analyse PQQs and tender questions, producing well-structured, compliant submissions
  • Contribute to bid planning and proposal strategy
  • Maintain and improve bid library content and templates
Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience within a contractor or construction consultancy
  • Excellent written English and understanding of construction tendering
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and submissions
  • IT proficient and ideally experienced with Adobe InDesign or similar
