The Senior Director, Sales Operations is responsible for the design, delivery and ongoing enhancements and support for global sales platforms driving simplicity, process automation and a stable system suite that drive seller productivity collaborating with IT and other functions as a key business owner. The Senior Director, Sales Operations sits within our IP segment and will have responsibility for two core functions: Sales Support and leadership for all sales processes and platforms; CRM systems (SalesForce), LinkedIn Navigator and ZoomInfo. There is a current ongoing SalesForce transformation project to consolidate all current CRM systems onto one platform.
About You β experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:
- 10+ yearsβ experience in a Sales operations leadership position.
- Operational excellence β Expert Customer Relationship Management domain knowledge, anchored on salesforce.com and related technologies.
- Change Management β track record of defining, owning and embedding consistent CRM processes across global sales organisations.
- Good understanding and ability to assess the change impacts of process automation with the sales community and drive change.
- Process Ownership and Process simplification - decrease the complexity of customer centric operational sales processes delivering more consistent/common, consolidated and integrated sales processes across the business.
- Strong process excellence skills such as Process Mapping, Lean Six Sigma, Benchmarking, RPA, design thinking preferred.
- Demand management β understanding of demand management processes, track record of implementing and running a demand cadence into the business and partnering with IT to ensure successful delivery of ongoing requirements.
- Best practice β adopt practices and procedures closer to relevant industry best practices.
- Reporting & Analysis β improve lead to order process and sales reporting/analysis for timeliness, granularity and accuracy.
- Strong CRM Domain Knowledge and implementation experiences β including sales clouds, master data management, contact management, configure, price and quote, incentive compensation management, sales cycle administration, analytics and reporting, digital signatures, contract lifecycle management etc.
- Ability to build consensus and manage diverse, group-wide stakeholders through influence.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management and Impact at all levels.
- Strong execution focus and ability to manage ambiguity.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Provide delivery leadership for the overall sales platform as the business Product Owner across all integrated technologies.
- Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities as business owner and work with IT to deliver a leading suite of sales platforms driving seller productivity.
- Own the overall roadmap and iterate based on research, market trends, user feedback, and keeping abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices.
- Create and implement a business triage process for backlog management and iteration planning.
- Work with IT on the elaboration of user stories and lead planning product release plans.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure focus on maximum value aligned with product strategy.
About the Team:
This role will sit within our IP Segment and will report into the VP, Sales Operations, leading a team of 4 direct reports consisting of Sales Support and Sales Operations team members.
Hours of Work:
Full-time, permanent role based out of the London office on a hybrid basis, 2 daysβ per week in the office.
