The Education Network is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and innovative IT Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Leeds area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school that places technology and digital literacy at the heart of its curriculum.
About the Role: We are seeking a qualified and motivated IT Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, support pupils’ progress, and actively contribute to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering the IT/Computing curriculum in line with national standards
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing and tracking student progress
- Supporting extracurricular activities and IT enrichment programmes
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching IT/Computing in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for technology and education
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
