We are looking for plumbers to work on a university building refurbishment. Applicants must be fully qualified and hold a valid CSCS / JIB-PMES card.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read blueprints and follow building codes and regulations
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, bend, and thread pipes
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building codes and regulations
- Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to plumbing work
- Experience with carpentry, welding, or commercial driving is a plus
Skills
- Strong knowledge of plumbing principles and techniques
- Ability to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Proficiency in using power tools for cutting, bending, and threading pipes
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot plumbing issues
