Working within a Food Research & Development lab under the guidance of senior team members, you will work independently and collaboratively to support the operation and goals of the laboratory.
Duties include:
- Efficiently administering samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results, and liaising with clients.
- Applying organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Providing high-quality customer service by ensuring effective organization of assigned workload, integrity of analytical data, and timely/accurate provision of results.
- Performing basic routine pharmacopeial analysis using aseptic technique under supervision.
- Operating basic lab equipment as directed.
- Conducting experiments, completing assigned projects, or offering functional services under supervision.
Requirements:
- A degree in Chemistry, a fresh graduate or technical apprenticeship.
- Competency in using generic and specific software packages required for the role including the Lab LIMS system and Q-Pulse.
- A scientific background, either through education or technical apprenticeship.
- Good organisational skills.
- Verbal and written communication in English.
- Accountability, honesty, and adaptability.
