Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join a leading Medical clinic in Newport. This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities for this Administrator role:
- Meeting and greeting clients, patients, families and other visitors
- Ensuring waiting area remains a calm, welcoming and a clean and tidy environment
- Coordinating repeat prescription requests, ensuring doctors complete these in a timely manner so clients have adequate supplies of medication
- Managing prescriptions across all ADHD medication management services including logging and ensuring there is an audit trail for each prescription
- Processing prescriptions and ensuring adequate communication with clients regarding the progress of their request
- Ensuring printed prescriptions are scanned, uploaded to EMIS, and posted to the client/pharmacy in a timely manner
- Raising invoices for prescriptions as required
- Monitoring the number of prescription requests received and liaising with the team lead to ensure adequate availability of writing slots
- Escalating enquiries from patients in relation to medication including concerns and reports of side-effects
- Liaising with ADHD clinic coordinator in relation to available supply of FP10s, medical equipment supply, service and calibration
- Keeping EMIS up to date with pharmacy, GP and medication details
- Dealing with patient enquiries in relation to their prescription request
- Carrying out audits in relation to the ADHD service and prescription administration
- Ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the service
Requirements for this Administrator role:
- Must have a basic DBS check
- Experience of working within a customer focused administration role
- Excellent interpersonal & judgement skills
- Experience of working to KPI targets and tight deadlines whilst balancing competing priorities within a busy environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Committed to providing the best quality
- Outstanding communication skills
- Able to establish and maintain productive professional relationships with colleagues
