Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all Project HSES standards & documentation.
- Fully committed to Project ethical values and to achieve Project expectations and goals, which shall include a proactive approach with other project departments to achieve these goals.
- Responsible for timely inspection during civils activities, proactive in the prevention of non-compliance and problem resolution.
- Attention to detail, commitment to a "Right-First-Time" ethos.
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Good written skills, ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivating, well organized, resourceful and proactive.
Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or similar.
- Previous experience in QC inspection essential.
- Solid background in oil and gas, petrochemical, or major infrastructure projects preferred.
Main Tasks:
- Monitor/review material test certificates in line with project specifications.
- Monitor/review compliance with project Inspection and Test Plans in line with project specifications.
- Ensure project preservation requirements are followed.
- Ensure traceability of materials is maintained.
- Witness manufacturing activities as per agreed ITP ensuring compliance to project standards including occasional off-site visits.
- Ensure manufacture record book is completed, reviewed, endorsed, and appropriately saved in agreed storage location.
- Feedback into supplier performance evaluation.
