We Help Recruit is recruiting a Lab Technician for a business in St Helens.

An established life sciences manufacturer is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support their peptide production operations. The company is a recognised leader in developing and manufacturing complex molecules for research and diagnostic applications, offering a collaborative and innovation-driven work environment. This is a hands-on lab-based role, ideal for individuals with a passion for science and strong attention to detail. You’ll work closely with chemists and production teams in a regulated laboratory setting, supporting the synthesis and purification of high-quality chemical products.

The Lab Technician will be responsible for supporting the synthesis and purification of peptides by operating lab equipment, performing routine tasks, and ensuring quality standards, contributing directly to the production of high-quality products at the forefront of global healthcare innovation.

Lab Technician Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Accurately document experimental procedures and outcomes to ensure regulatory compliance.
