Pin Point Recruitment is currently working with a well-established and growing company based in Earls Colne, who are looking to add a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver / Warehouse Assistant to their warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven forklift experience who is looking for a stable, full-time role in a busy and supportive environment.
Job Role:
- Operate a Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse and yard
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks, reporting any faults or damage to management
- Load and unload deliveries, relocating goods as required
- Safely stack and unstack goods using pallets, wraps, and other materials
- Ensure clean, hazard-free forklift driving areas
- Identify and report any stock discrepancies or damage
- Perform stock replenishment and consolidation tasks
- Assist with general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and inventory checks
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace in line with health & safety requirements
- Work closely with the warehouse team to support smooth day-to-day operations
Skills Required:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or equivalent)
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Basic computer literacy
- Willingness to take on general warehouse tasks when needed
- Experience with stock control, replenishment, or inventory systems
- Knowledge of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Must have drivers licence and access to a vehicle due to site location
- Additional forklift licences (e.g., Reach, Bendi) are a bonus
