Qualified or Unqualified Teacher / Instructor of Economics and Business Studies required for an academy in East London. Permanent or fixed term role – employed by the school and paid in line with teachers’ pay and conditions.

Strategy Education are the preferred supplier of teaching and support staff to an outstanding Multi Academy Trust with schools throughout East London and Essex. We are actively recruiting for a member of staff who can teach Economics and Business in one of their East London schools for the new academic year.

The successful candidate could be an ECT or experienced teacher, or a Business / Economics graduate who is looking at the possibility of training to teach and is looking for experience in a secondary school setting. You will be required to teach Business and Economics through the secondary key stages including A Level.

The Academy is based in Redbridge, and they are committed to delivering the highest level of education and are currently rated Outstanding by OfSTED. Within the trust, they have systems and mentors in place to ensure full support is given during the ECT pathway, for continuous professional development and beyond.

The trust pride themselves on their outstanding status and are looking for members of staff who are striving to become outstanding classroom practitioners. The successful candidate will be offered a permanent or fixed term position, employed directly by the school and paid in line with Teachers Pay and Conditions.

The successful candidate will have a relevant undergraduate degree and will be subject to a variety of checks including eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS, and full references including one from your most recent relevant placement.
