An established, profitable and reputable accountancy firm are seeking to hire an experienced professional, who has the ability to develop to a Partner / Director job role at their offices in Leicester. With the age and stage of the current ownership, they would like to bring someone in soon, so there is capacity for a good handover of the work and client relationships. On a day-to-day basis, the firm really want someone to review client files, ensure the work gets processed, deal with letters of engagement, taking work to the point where the Partner can go and see the client and do a clearance meeting. The person hired into this role should ensure all the files are complete, up to Partner review, so the Partner can send the signing pack out, making sure the billing gets done. On the staff side, you will alsohelp the employees reporting into you with technical queries and plan work in progress. The firm can support qualification for a practicing certificate and / or R.I (Responsible individual) status, so you can be in charge of audit clients and sign off. With a strong starting salary, the firm can offer a trajectory to buy into the firm on a realistic valuation and to enable your development to a full Partner position.With circa 12 to 15 audits overall, this firm would ideally like this person to assume control of those, plus oversee work done by the accounts, payroll and tax staff.
