The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Mechanical Services Designer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for the production of mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software. Reporting to the Mechanical Services Director, this is a hands-on role for someone confident with CAD and looking to build a strong career in mechanical services design.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing mechanical and public health drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit for all stages of design
- Creating equipment schedules (e.g. FCUs, AHUs, HRUs, grilles, fire dampers etc)
- Assisting with HVAC and public health design work
- Carrying out thermal modelling using IES or similar software
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years’ experience in mechanical and public health services design
- Excellent AutoCAD skills
- Revit and thermal modelling experience is a bonus
- A degree in mechanical or building services engineering preferred
- Someone self-motivated, efficient, and comfortable working under pressure
