Working for one of the UK’s most respected AC and Refrigeration companies as a Parts Administrator, you’ll find yourself sourcing, purchasing and ordering parts, maintaining crucial logs on the system and even doing some manual handling. This role is very hands on and offers a varied workload, so no two days are the same.

Salary: Up to £30,000 Per Annum

Location: Peterborough

Role Type: Permanent / Full Time / 8-5

The Role:

  • You’ll play an integral part in keeping all stock inventory up to date, ordering in new stock based on the engineers’ requirements and providing insights into the equipment being used.
  • Prior administrative, sourcing, stock management and stores experience is ideal.
  • You’ll also conduct health and safety checks regularly, including ladder inspections, PAT testing, fire extinguishers, gauge testing and fire alarms (training will be given for all of this).
  • You will also receive the deliveries, often requiring you to move gas cylinders up to weights of 28Kg although you will have a wheeled trolley to assist with this.
  • As well as this you’ll also monitor van inspections.
  • Experience in a similar administrative role in electrical, plumber wholesaler, builder’s merchants, warehouse or a similar supplier-based industry is essential.

We’re looking for a diligent, organised and adaptable person who enjoys interacting with customers and engineers alike.

A full driving license will be required as you will sometimes be required to move parts to different locations.
