Permanent β Full Time (37.5 hours per week). Here at Lovell, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join us and work on schemes across Bristol and Williton, Taunton. Long established in affordable housing, Lovell's construction business has evolved in recent years to provide a truly national construction solution. Lovell is the nation's complete housing partnership specialist and weβre dedicated to delivering excellence in everything we do.
As our Quantity Surveyor, you will have effective commercial control of all allocated projects/developments, to include provision of timely and accurate documentation in accordance with the Surveying timetable, in particular PPRs, all elemental reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, etc. Duties will include managing project cost control procedures, obtaining an understanding and contributing to effective cash management, completing all aspects of sub-contractor administration and identifying and managing risk across a range of projects.
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in social housing. You will be knowledgeable on measurement and valuation, final accounts and sub-contract orders and buying, coupled with competency in COINS. Client-driven, with strong decision making and communication skills, candidates will be able to prioritise work against tight deadlines and sometimes conflicting priorities.
