About the company: Our privately owned client is a leading name within the enabling works industry that prides themselves on their excellent reputation for delivering projects within budget and to programme, whilst always maintaining high standards and quality. They are based in Central London and as a group, successfully complete projects as a principal contractor and as a subcontractor throughout the UK which have values in excess of £15M. Their core areas of expertise include demolition, asbestos removal, enabling works and infrastructure and as a group, they turnover in excess of £120M.
About the opportunity: Due to healthy order books and continued company growth, I have been asked to recruit a Site Manager to work directly for the above contractor. Working as a site manager you will be joining the companies’ demolition / enabling works management team based in Central London and will be responsible for the day to day management of a site, ensuring work is carried out in accordance and time with the programme whilst also making sure standards are maintained, including health & safety.
About the requirements: To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following:
- SMSTS
- First Aid Certificate
- CSCS
- CCDO Gold Supervisor or Black Managers Card
- Proven success of running large complex demolition / enabling works projects in City centre environments
Additionally, as this is a permanent opportunity, I am looking for a professional who can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career, holding each previous post for a minimum of 2 years and you must be within commutable distance from Central London.
