This role is responsible for managing and enhancing the Operational Resilience framework in line with UK (FCA/PRA) and EU (DORA) regulations. It supports resilience integration across business operations and change initiatives within the UK and Europe. The role requires strong collaboration with senior stakeholders and focuses on assessing the impact of change programmes and strengthening first-line resilience capability. Prior experience in implementing resilience frameworks within financial services is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Operational Resilience framework, tools, and processes.
- Promote awareness and deliver training on resilience requirements.
- Support business units in meeting regulatory expectations, particularly for Important Business Services (IBS) and Critical/Important Functions (CIF).
- Coordinate governance forums, documentation, and management information.
- Lead regulatory self-assessments and support internal audits.
- Track regulatory developments and ensure compliance with emerging requirements.
- Manage inter-affiliate agreements and support change initiatives from a resilience perspective.
Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of FCA/PRA Operational Resilience rules and EU DORA.
- Experience in financial services, with a focus on resilience, risk, and change.
- Familiarity with operational risk frameworks and business continuity/crisis management best practices.
- Experience supporting change management projects, with a solid understanding of the project lifecycle.
