Various Locations
Hours are offered on an as and when required basis. £14.44 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance). A shift allowance will be paid for unsocial hours worked where appropriate.
Applications are sought for a Relief Maintenance Worker. Duties include ensuring all parks, play areas, playing fields, benches, allotments and general grounds maintenance projects are maintained in a safe condition and to a high standard. The role also includes carrying out a range of other general maintenance tasks as required, such as transporting equipment and conducting general health and safety checks within facilities.
Applicants should have a good general standard of education including literacy and numeracy, and have experience of carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance, along with using a variety of tools and equipment. You should hold a full current driving licence. This post requires Level 1 Disclosure Scotland Clearance.
