We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established wealth and asset management firm, part of a leading international banking group with a strong presence across the UK. Known for its client-centric approach, long-term thinking, and financial strength, the firm delivers investment management, financial planning, and private banking services to high-net-worth individuals and families.
This newly created position plays a vital leadership role in supporting a national team of Financial Planners. You will manage a large and geographically dispersed support function, helping ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery and operational efficiency across the UK.
You will oversee a team comprising:
- 12 Financial Planning Administrators
- 4 Client Services Administrators
- 3 Team Leaders
Reporting to the Head of Wealth, you will lead by example to drive performance, enhance service delivery, and embed a culture of excellence across all support teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing Wealth Support team across multiple UK offices
- Ensuring timely, consistent support is provided to Financial Planners and their clients
- Overseeing workflows, allocating resources effectively, and managing day-to-day operations
- Supporting recruitment and ongoing team development through coaching and mentoring
- Embedding a customer-first culture and operational best practice across the team
- Working closely with senior management on service development and process improvement
We are looking for:
- Proven leadership experience within wealth management, financial planning, or private banking
- A strong background in operations, service delivery, and team management
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A proactive mindset with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and customer care
Whatβs on offer:
- Β£65,000 β Β£80,000 salary depending on experience
