Owen Reed is looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Advisor for a top law firm in London on a 6 months Fixed-term contract basis.
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 3 days WFH.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our innovative Human Resources department on a fixed term contract basis to cover a period of maternity leave within the team. The HR team works collaboratively to support the business in a business partner model. You will have a varied and exciting role providing essential support within the recruitment team. The varied nature of this role means that as well as providing key administrative support, you will also have a business facing role requiring you to liaise and build key relationships with our full client base in London.
Areas Of Focus And Responsibilities
- The main focus of the role is facilitating the end to end recruitment process for our business services teams, including liaising with hiring managers to establish requirements, advertising and direct sourcing where possible, managing agencies, interviewing and testing where required and contributing to salary benchmarking.
- Managing hiring manager's expectations, giving constructive best practice advice.
- Actively managing candidates through the end-to-end recruitment process delivering a high-touch, engaging candidate experience.
- Building relationships with agencies and attending interviews with hiring managers on a daily basis.
- Producing detailed job specifications and working with hiring managers to structure appropriate screening practices and interviews in line with specific role requirements.
- Driving our direct sourcing initiatives by leveraging LinkedIn to increase direct hires by engaging with candidates directly.
- Managing the PSL and contract terms for business services recruitment in London where recruitment agencies and search firms are used.
- Encouraging recruitment best practice across the firm and implementing any improvements.
- Screening CVs for the desired requirements in the first instance.
- Liaising with preferred recruitment agencies and briefing them on current requirements.
- Arranging and leading briefing meetings with hiring managers and preferred agencies where necessary to fully understand the role requirements and market fluctuations.
- Scheduling and conducting both technical and competency based interviews with hiring managers, as well as assessments for vacancies (where necessary).
- Managing and facilitating end to end assessment centres for our business services apprenticeship schemes on a 6 monthly basis.
- Providing detailed constructive feedback after interviews.
- Assisting with budgeting and market mapping annually for business services staff.
- Acting as a key point of contact for queries coming into the HR Helpdesk and effectively liaising with team members and the business to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Responsible for checking and coding invoices for business services hiring fees.
- Assisting with the graduate recruitment processes.

Qualifications Required

The Essentials
- Monday to Friday, 930am to 530pm, but flexibility is a must.
- 12 week probation period.
- 4 week notice period.
- Hybrid working - minimum 2 days a week in the office.
