We’re looking for a proactive and passionate Employability Specialist to join our team on a 6-month temporary basis. In this dual role, you’ll be instrumental in building referral partnerships while supporting job seekers into sustainable employment. You’ll lead on community outreach and stakeholder engagement, while also managing a personal caseload to deliver tailored, person-centred employment support.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with job centres, community organisations, referral agencies, and other stakeholders to generate a consistent flow of suitable referrals.
- Represent and promote the employability programme through outreach, networking events, and community engagement activities.
- Manage a caseload of job seekers, guiding them through the journey from referral and onboarding to securing and sustaining employment.
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify needs, aspirations, and barriers to work.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored interventions, training, and ongoing support.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of stakeholder engagement, client progress, and service delivery using internal systems.
- Act as a key point of contact for both referral partners and clients, ensuring clear communication and a high-quality service experience.
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage diverse audiences.
- Confident in presenting and promoting services in both formal and informal settings.
- Proven track record of relationship-building with external stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
