Automotive Repair Systems Ltd is one of the largest independent SMART Repair companies in the UK with over 150 mobile and static technicians. We are now seeking an additional Mobile Paint / SMART repair technician to join our Insurance Company, Go SMART Repair Ltd, to work on a Mobile paint/smart repair basis in and around Salisbury and surrounding areas.
The successful paint technician will provide a Mobile SMART Paint Repair service to our Insurance customers within the Southern Region, thus offering excellent earning potential. We expect you to have a valid UK driving licence, be physically fit, well presented, friendly, customer focused, and most importantly, work to a high standard!
Successful applicants should expect to work Monday to Friday. Additional requirements are as follows:
- A self-motivated individual able to work on their own initiative
- Min 4 years paint/wheel repair experience (Preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats)
- Good knowledge and application of fillers (for Paint/SMART Repair)
- Able to paint a minimum of 2 vertical panels and blend
- Great attention to detail
- Customer facing experience in former roles
- Basic Maths and English required
- Prepared to travel to carry out SMART Repairs on a daily basis
- Able to offer some flexibility with hours as our customers require
- Excellent time keeper and self-organised
All applicants would be required to undertake a combined technical assessment and interview at one of our Regional Centres before any offer is made (travel expenses are reimbursed fully where appropriate).
