- Salary: £30,739 – £33,203 per annum full time equivalent (including Outer London Weighting allowance). Actual salary based on part time working arrangements £15,916 – £17,192 per annum
Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16-19 year old students. We are currently seeking to recruit an Advisor to join our dedicated Careers, Employability and Progression team on a fixed term basis to September 2025. We have a strong track record of supporting our students to gain places at prestigious universities, visual arts colleges and conservatoires. Our outstanding careers centre is equipped with a wide range of high quality resources and software.
In this role you will provide guidance and advice for progression to higher education, employment, apprenticeships or further training, in addition to organising dedicated student meetings and assisting with preparation for assessment and selection processes. You will also have the opportunity to organise and publicise a range of events and encourage active participation in our extensive programme of activities.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to be supportive and develop good working relationships with students, staff and external representatives.
