Group Financial Controller (Leeds)

Group Financial Controller Location: Leeds Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + Leadership Package Are you a commercially-minded finance leader ready to drive change and performance across a growing group? We’re working exclusively with a national distribution business headquartered in Leeds, currently scaling with group revenues approaching £10m. With ambitious plans for growth and operational improvement, the company is investing in leadership to take the business to the next level. As Group Financial Controller , you’ll report directly to the Managing Director and take full ownership of the finance function. You’ll play a critical role in strengthening financial control, improving systems, and supporting strategic decision-making across the group. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the finance function across all group entities Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance Drive process improvements and implement scalable systems Provide commercial insight to support strategic decisions Manage cashflow, risk, and group-wide financial governance What We’re Looking For: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Proven experience in a growing SME or multi-entity environment Strong systems and process improvement background Hands-on and adaptable with a commercial mindset This is a values-driven, fast-paced business with a strong leadership team and a clear growth agenda.
