Dialysis Technician (PCT)

DaVita is looking for a Dialysis Tech to serve our patients at our Dover Dialysis Center in Dover, OH.

Position Details:

• Operational Hours: MWF 3:00 am to 8:00 pm, TTS 3:00 am to 6:00 pm (3 days/12 hr shifts)
• Shifts: 3-4 days/week, including two Saturdays/month, starting as early as 3:00 am
• Training hours may vary; typically 32-40 hours/week during training
• Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Training & Reimbursement:

• Paid training with classroom and hands-on components
• Reimbursement for Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Reliable, eager to learn, patient-focused, and adaptable to early shifts and long hours
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable working around blood, needles, and mixing acids or bicarb
• Ability to work long hours on your feet; willingness to train across clinics
• Preferred healthcare certifications: BONENT, CHT, CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during dialysis treatments
• Prepare water and materials, monitor patients, and operate dialysis machines
• Lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive motions, and communicate effectively
• Engage in continuous process improvement and patient education

Team & Schedule:

• Work under RN supervision with a multidisciplinary team
• Shifts may start as early as 3:00 am, with schedule shared during interview
