- Manage daily operations of onsite material processing, recovery, and disposal.
- Ensure health, safety & wellbeing of all operational personnel.
- Maintain health & safety compliance for all visitors to the site.
- Ensure compliance with Environment Agency site permit and all relevant legislation.
- Adhere to all company processes & procedures.
- Participate actively in the on-site senior management team.
- Support recruitment, induction, and training of new employees.
- Oversee training, development, and coaching of staff.
- Manage preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment.
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure material transport aligns with offtake agreements and permits.
- Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and conduct competency assessments.
- Contribute to the site SHEQ working group.
- Conduct performance reviews of operational personnel.
- Participate in daily site planning and regional processing meetings.
- Maximize plant availability and throughput while maintaining output quality.
- Manage operational costs effectively.
- Ensure sufficient labor for safe and compliant shifts.
- Oversee payroll submissions.
