The Solution Advisor Manager is responsible for leading a team of Senior Solution Advisors whose focus is 80% designing and executing regional Demand Generation (DG) Programs, and 20% customer opportunity support.

  • Responsible for defining how the team of Senior Solution Advisors design DG programs and engage pro-actively with the EMEA SCM Sales Leaders.
  • Responsible for driving the Demand Generation topics across EMEA, including setting the direction for the Digital Hub activity, as well as managing a pipeline health cadence with the Sales Leaders across SCM EMEA.
  • Implement effective forecasted outcomes and post outcomes measurement processes.
  • Support and lead customer facing activities as required, both DG related as well as sales opportunity based.
  • Understands business and industry; helps customers realize return on investment and drives knowledge into the Solution Advisory and Sales functions.

  • Leads the team effectively ensuring TCP targets are achieved across the board.
  • Builds and executes business development plans aligned to our GTM setup.
  • Supports sales opportunities directly and through the team as required.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

To drive customer success and revenue growth by aligning SCM EMEA Demand Generation activities with our line of business GTM focus, SCM solutions capabilities and focus in agreement with the regional CRO and Sales Leaders, fostering early engagement, and delivering impactful experiences that maximize customer value and ensure high renewal rates.

  • Engage customers early in the sales cycle, matching needs to SAP solutions, and advising account teams on opportunities based on success probabilities and strategic account positions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling stories and ‘why SAP SCM’ messaging that illustrate differentiated business outcomes, utilizing standard messaging and digital assets throughout the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to co-create an agreed-upon SAP vision, aligning messaging and gaining customer trust.
  • Ensure world-class customer experiences in critical segments, driving adoption and consumption to maximize customer value.
  • Build a culture of excellence with the team of direct reports, and a mindset of General Manager of my solution pillar with each team member.
  • Continuously explore and communicate the added value of SAP solutions to each account, supporting the process of value expansion and increased revenue.
