A well-established company operating nationwide based in Loughborough requires an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to start ASAP. We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning installation engineer who has considerable knowledge of installing and working on air conditioning systems, such as VRF/VRV multi-split and split systems for our commercial clients including universities, hospitality, commercial offices, retail, leisure, and residential.
The Role
- Complete installation of VRF/VRV, multi-split and split systems including pipework, wiring, mounting, brazing, condensate management, etc.
- Experienced and time served to install and work on a wide variety of air conditioning VRF/VRV and split systems.
- Commission of VRF/VRV, multi-split and split air conditioning systems.
- Ability to read drawings, schematics and follow technical drawings.
- Liaise closely with the project teams and company directors on a day-to-day basis.
- Coordinate and control installations on site to ensure smooth delivery.
- Where required, liaise closely with the client to maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Work in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client-specific site requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced Air conditioning engineer, with an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioning. You will need to be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
- High level of interpersonal skills - good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports.
- Quality workmanship and pride in work is a must.
- You will be confident in your own ability.
- You will be flexible and open to work on all types of mechanical systems where required, with training provided when necessary.
- Problem-solving skills and a "can do" attitude.
- Would be advantageous to have good electrical competence including the ability to read wiring schematics and test control circuits.
- Full Driving licence.
- Working away, minimum 2-4 nights a week depending on projects.
What we offer
- 22 days holiday in addition to the normal statutory holidays.
- The company's holiday year runs from the 1st January to 31st December.
