Job Description:
Mind in Bradford is hiring Crisis Support Workers for Safe Spaces. Salary scale: £20,450 – £24,540 per annum. Hours: Various shift patterns. Base: Kenburgh House, Central Bradford, with occasional travel across the district. Responsible to: Service Manager / Team Leader. Annual Leave: 25 days pro-rata. Pension: Contributory scheme with auto-enrollment (conditions apply). Probationary period: 6 months.

We are working with The Cellar Trust to lead the NHS-funded Safe Spaces programme, providing community crisis and wellbeing services across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale, and Craven. Services include one-to-one support, outreach, community cafes, overnight accommodation for youth, and in-reach support. The aim is to offer a non-clinical, supportive environment to help people in crisis stay safe and access ongoing support.
The Role:
As a Crisis Support Worker, you will deliver one-to-one crisis support via phone or face-to-face, providing practical assistance to empower clients in their recovery. The role involves emotional resilience and may require travel across the district.
Who You Are:
You have experience supporting individuals with mental health difficulties in a service setting, working with vulnerable populations with multiple risks, and can inspire hope and recovery in others.
Shifts Available:
- 19.10-2.30am on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
