Learner Support Assistant (SEND LSA)

The Sheffield College is looking for a Learner Support Assistant to work with SEND students, helping to remove barriers in their learning and supporting both in and out of the classroom. This role involves monitoring students\’ development, working closely with teachers and mentors to ensure student engagement and achievement, and supporting students during breaks, lunchtimes, and daily transitions. The position emphasizes the importance of equal access to education and requires the ability to support students with learning difficulties and disabilities, with knowledge of SEND support. Successful candidates will complete mandatory training, engage in staff development, and build strong collaborative relationships.
