CSA are currently sourcing candidates for our long-established client based in Cross Hands, for the position of Night Despatch Operative on a 4 on and 4 off shift pattern. Our client operates globally to create better food naturally, providing consistent quality meat products from sustainable sources.
PAY RATE:
- Basic Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £13.03 per hour (applied after 12 weeks of work)
CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time temporary contract.
SHIFTS: Shift pattern based on 4 on and 4 off basis. Temporary role – full-time.
Own transport required: to get on site as there is no public transport available.
Main Duties:
- Manual lifting, picking, scanning, and loading trailers of daily orders for customers.
- Loading and unloading inbound and outbound trailers.
- Moving pallets and products, scanning to correct locations.
- Wrapping, labeling, and securing pallets for safe transport.
- Communicating with departments (Logistics, Planning, Sales, Transport).
- Processing paperwork and sealing trailers.
- Carrying out requests and tasks professionally.
- Maintaining good housekeeping in the despatch department.
- Crate washing using designated machines.
