Position Summary
The Zoetis Lincoln Manufacturing Site is actively seeking a dedicated Material Evaluation Coordinator to support processes related to new and changed materials and suppliers. The role involves collaborating with Procurement Category Leaders to manage change processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA).
Hours: 1st shift.
Position Responsibilities
Material Evaluation Committee (MEC) Leadership
- Lead four MEC meetings, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure meetings are productive, focused, and well-organized.
- Set agendas, address key topics, and manage follow-up actions.
- Encourage active participation from all members.
- Oversee change control processes using Trackwise (ETS), ensuring documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate qualification sample requests from suppliers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with various teams to implement change controls effectively.
- Resolve issues related to change evaluation and approval.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; or 1-3 years supporting procurement or manufacturing in GMP environment.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP and Ariba knowledge a plus.
- Detail-oriented with good data entry skills.
- Knowledge of Zoetis operations and change control systems is a plus.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Operate within procurement policies.
- Work independently when needed.
- Recommends actions; technical writing skills a plus.
- Judgment is reviewed for soundness and accuracy.
Physical Position Requirements
- Primarily office work with some light activities.
- Sitting, standing, walking; occasional outside work to meet deadlines.
- Wear PPE in manufacturing areas.
- Work is mostly stationary with periodic movement.
