Job Description:
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Senior Scientist in Analytical Science to join our team focused on early product development and manufacture. This role involves applying your expertise in analytical techniques to support the development of new drug products, particularly in the early clinical phases. Your work will be crucial in ensuring high-quality methodologies and data to advance our projects.
Responsibilities:
– Lead analytical development activities for drug product development and supply during early clinical phases.
– Develop and identify analytical methodologies to support project progression.
– Conduct lab-based experiments, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice.
– Interpret analytical data to make informed recommendations for project advancement.
– Develop risk assessments and control strategies to ensure drug product safety and efficacy.
– Author regulatory submission sections and respond to regulatory inquiries.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, representing your area of expertise.
– Ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and Quality standards.
Key Skills and Requirements:
– Degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
– Understanding of analytical science in early phase drug development and clinical supply.
– Proficiency in analytical techniques for drug product characterization.
– Strong practical experimental skills and problem-solving abilities.
– Ability to learn new analytical techniques and work systematically to meet deadlines.
– Experience in the pharmaceutical or similar industry is desirable.
– Skills in pharmacopeial dissolution systems and UPLC systems are advantageous.
– Experience in project leadership and analytical activities for manufacturing campaigns.
– Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements, including GMP and ICH.
