Day Shift – 5am to 3:00pm, 20-minute paid lunch. Flexible start times available if needed.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: As a Welder of truck-mounted equipment, you will be responsible for consistently producing high-quality weldments using blueprints or documentation to meet daily schedules and customer demand. Welders are responsible for the setup, operation, adjustment, and regulation of welding machines. Welds may be performed with or without fixtures. You may utilize various tools to cut, grind, bevel, fit metals, and remove slag. Performs designated maintenance functions, owns the quality of weldments, participates in training, performs daily 5S activities, and maintains all safety standards.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

• Ability to weld parts using GMAW MIG
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, basic shop math, and use a tape measure
• Ability to operate overhead hoist
• Minimum of 6 months of experience and/or an associate degree or certification
• Adherence to all health and safety regulations and maintaining good housekeeping (5S)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
• Exposure to noise, weld fumes, and grinding smoke at times
