A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join our team at our site in Saltash but moving to our new site in Plymouth in late spring 2025. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Identify parts for the front and back counters.
- Check off stock and accurately put away keeping the stock area tidy.
- Pick orders and put on the delivery shelves.
- Process returns back to the supplier.
- Process customer credits.
- Handle warranty returns.
- Perpetual stock checking.
- Stock receipting on DMS.
- Excellent customer service and strong administration skills.
- A friendly, can do attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Some working knowledge of the motor vehicle sector or automotive trade.
- Experience working to performance targets.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Autoline, Kerridge or Keyloop would be an advantage.
- Must be willing to work the late shift 11:00am to 8:00am on a rota basis (potentially moving to 10pm at a later date).
Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and 11:00 am to 8:00 pm (this may move to 10 pm at a later date) plus a Saturday morning, all shift times are operated on a rota basis. i.e. 45 hours per week, 1 hour lunch (unpaid).
