About the Role:
Join Up Closets of North Cincinnati as a Semi Truck Mechanic and be a vital part of our dedicated team! We are looking for skilled mechanics to ensure our fleet operates at peak performance while enjoying a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Replace worn or defective parts to maintain vehicle functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in truck maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a semi truck mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems.
- Valid driver\’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
