Assistant Accountant Permanent Based in Portslade Part time (25-30 hours) Hybrid working £30,000 – £35,000 per annum pro rata Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting new job opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join an established and continuously growing organisation based in Portslade area on a permanent, part time basis. This role will suit someone from industry or practice with experience of year end preparation and corporation tax looking for reduced hours. Your duties will include: Assist in the preparation Year End accounts compliant with FRS 102 and Companies Act for circa 65 entities in the group Assist in the preparation of Tax computations and CT600’s to accompany the Year End statutory accounts Assist in the quarterly VAT preparation and submission process for circa 20 group entities Support the Financial Accountant with other compliance areas such as R&D, CIS Tax, Office of National Statistics filings, Corporation tax calculations.
