Job Title: Quality Lead – Apprenticeships & Work Based Learning

Location: Cambridge

Start date: September 2025

Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 p/a

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Lead to join our construction team. Working with the Work Based Learning Manager, you will manage a team of assessors across Carpentry, Brickwork, and Maintenance Operations apprenticeship Standards. Your role will involve monitoring programme delivery, exceeding KPIs, and implementing interventions to drive performance.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in leading quality assurance, preferably in construction education.
• Strong knowledge of apprenticeship Standards delivery.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to motivate staff and support team performance.
• Experience in report writing and data analysis.
• Experience collaborating with apprentices and employers to ensure achievement.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent, e.g., A1).
