A leading company within the UK food manufacturing industry are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Working 4 on 4 off days & nights. Salary GBP46,000 to GBP54,000 inclusive of shift allowance.
What You Will Do:
- Lead your team during breakdowns, applying your skills and experience to resolve issues efficiently.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and take corrective action to ensure machinery operates at its best.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns across multiple factory areas, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements.
- Communicate effectively with the Engineering Shift Manager and operations team to minimise disruptions.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety while following good engineering practices.
- Use the CMMS system for spare parts management and job logging to ensure smooth operations.
What You Will Bring:
- Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical disciplines (BTEC & NVQ L3, HNC, HND).
- Proven engineering experience, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar fast-moving environment.
- Strong mechanical fitting skills and the ability to fault-find on process machinery.
- A self-motivated, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for continuous improvement and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
