A leading company within the UK food manufacturing industry are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic factory environment, where innovation and teamwork drive success. Working 4 on 4 off days & nights. Salary GBP46,000 to GBP54,000 inclusive of shift allowance.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead your team during breakdowns, applying your skills and experience to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and take corrective action to ensure machinery operates at its best.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns across multiple factory areas, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with the Engineering Shift Manager and operations team to minimise disruptions.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety while following good engineering practices.
  • Use the CMMS system for spare parts management and job logging to ensure smooth operations.

What You Will Bring:

  • Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical disciplines (BTEC & NVQ L3, HNC, HND).
  • Proven engineering experience, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar fast-moving environment.
  • Strong mechanical fitting skills and the ability to fault-find on process machinery.
  • A self-motivated, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
