Welder (Day Shift)

OTE £34,600.00 – £43,490.00 per year

Guaranteed basic starting salary £34,600.00 per annum.

Role Overview: The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and welding mild steel platform chassis components to high standards, using MIG welding and operating automated plasma/seam welders. Experience with fabrication, jigs, fixtures, and MIG welding is essential; TIG welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Fabrication and welding of components to company standards
• Operating automated welding equipment

Experience Required:

• Fabrication and welding experience
• Use of jigs and fixtures for high-quality, repetitive manufacturing
• Proficiency in MIG welding
• TIG welding experience (desirable but not essential)

Working Hours & Salary:

Day shift: 07:30 – 16:30 Monday-Thursday, 07:30 – 13:30 Friday, with regular structured overtime.

Starting salary: £15.51/hour for 40 hours/week plus a guaranteed minimum bonus of £45/week, totaling £34,600 annually, with overtime paid at premium rates:

• Level A: £23.27/hour (time and a half)
• Level B: £31.02/hour (double time)

Additional monthly performance bonus averaging £280-£350.
